Mountain Biking.

The Kolapore Wilderness Trails network east of Kimberley rides as cross-country forest singletrack the rest of the year, on the same tract that holds the classic XC skiing in winter. Volunteer stewardship runs through the Kolapore Wilderness Trails Association — annual passes and donations keep the trails open; there is no bike park, no ticket office, no lift.

Mountain Biking in Grey Highlands
01 — What to know

The brief.

Surfaces are forest singletrack and forest road on the Beaver Valley plateau hardwoods; the riding character is wilderness XC rather than purpose-built jump-line or downhill. Spring-thaw closures and wet-season etiquette apply — the same trail tract that grooms classic XC in winter is sensitive to mud rutting.

Bring water; there is no on-site facility. Connector rides drop down into the Beaver Valley by escarpment-side township roads.

Pass requirements and stewardship details run through the Kolapore Wilderness Trails Association.
