Heritage & Culture.

The Presqu'ile lighthouse, built in 1840, sits at the southern tip of the peninsula — among the oldest surviving lighthouses on Lake Ontario. Friends of Presqu'ile Park run the Lighthouse Interpretive Centre alongside it, and the Lighthouse Loop carries walkers past the structure and the surrounding panne and dune boardwalks.
