The walkable footprint of Upper Canada Village covers more than 40 heritage buildings spread across the 1860s-era streets at Crysler Park, with Crysler's Farm Battlefield Memorial on the same continuous riverfront. East along Highway 2, Morrisburg's downtown waterfront and Morrisburg Beach face the upper Seaway shoreline, and a short distance further the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary opens its trail network and observation tower on the same shoreline.

The Upper Canada Village walkable footprint is the most developed walking surface in South Dundas — paid admission, mid-May through October only, but the village pathways are all flat and fully built out. The Crysler's Farm Battlefield Memorial walk on the adjacent grounds is freely accessible during park hours.
Morrisburg's downtown waterfront and Morrisburg Beach are municipal-managed (City of South Dundas) — Morrisburg Beach is the only municipal swim beach on the St. Lawrence within the municipality.
The Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary's roughly 8 km of walking and birdwatching trails (St. Lawrence Parks Commission management on federal MBS land) opens up the riverfront walking surface beyond the heritage cluster.
Best season is mid-May through October; off-season walking is possible on the municipal waterfront and the SNC properties.
