Cross-Country & Nordic.
The Wasaga Nordic & Trails Centre at Blueberry Plains, inside Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, grooms more than 30 km of classic and skate-ski trails as part of a broader 50+ km ski/snowshoe network. Lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay sustains the season into March, and Ontario Parks runs the grooming and chalet access from the centre at Blueberry Plains.
The brief.
This is the same in-park trail network that carries summer cyclists and walkers — Ontario Parks flips the routing to ski grooming for the winter season. Classic and skate trails are groomed separately.
The Blueberry Plains chalet is the access point and trail-hub; daily and seasonal trail passes are required. Lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay extends the season later than most of southern Ontario — December through March is the prime window with March often holding usable snow well after lower-elevation southern Ontario closes out.
The same Wasaga Beach Provincial Park day-use rules apply (permits required at posted entry, alcohol prohibited).
