Freshwater Fishing in South Stormont
01 — What to know

The brief.

FMZ 20 and FMZ 18 run on different open seasons and possession limits — the boundary cuts through South Stormont, so anglers should confirm zone before each trip and carry a copy of the current Ontario Fishing Regulations Summary or the digital app. Bait restrictions apply across both zones (Southern Bait Management Zone).

A valid Outdoors Card and fishing licence are required. The Lake St.

Lawrence pool is productive for muskie and bass and has been a long-running upper-Seaway fishery; inland Raisin River reaches are smaller-water warm-water angling.
