The beach sits on a 235-acre park 19 km east of Cornwall, sharing Lake St. Francis frontage with the boat launch and the campground.

01 — What to know

The brief.

Beach and day-use access run from the May long weekend to Thanksgiving Monday in October — the same window as the Charlottenburgh Park campground. The beach is on open Lake St.

Francis water; afternoon winds on the lake can change wave conditions quickly. There is no surf or undertow, but the lake is large and beach swimmers should account for boat and small-craft traffic from the adjacent boat launch.

A play structure and a canteen are on the day-use side, and the covered picnic shelter accommodates barbecues.
