Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding.

Mount St. Louis Moonstone sits on the Oro Moraine inside Oro-Medonte Township — one of central Ontario's larger lift-served alpine resorts by skiable acreage and lift count.

Lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay typically opens the resort earlier and extends the season later than the southern Ontario average, with the prime alpine window running mid-December through March.

01 — What to know

The brief.

Mount St. Louis Moonstone is alpine-resort scale only — lift-served terrain, on-hill rentals and lessons, a tubing park alongside the runs, and a published season schedule.

There is no backcountry, heli, or cat-skiing product anywhere within the township. The resort sits off Highway 400 north of Barrie and is signed off the highway.

Lake-effect snowpack from Georgian Bay drives reliable snow but also fast-changing winter weather; check the resort's published snow report before heading up. The hill operates on its own season schedule and lift-ticket system; lift, lesson, and rental rules are set by the resort.
