Cycling in Cambridge
01 — What to know

The brief.

The Cambridge to Paris Rail Trail is non-motorized (no ATVs or motorcycles) and shared by walkers, cyclists, and equestrians; the surface is granular stone-dust, comfortable on a hybrid or gravel bike, and the corridor follows the Grand River through farmland, forest, and limestone river bluffs between Cambridge and Paris. The Walter Bean Trail's Cambridge segments combine paved riverside path and short on-road sections through the city.

Best season is May through October; the rail trail can be soft after spring rain.
