Camping.
Stormhaven and High Dump are 9-platform backcountry sites each, strung along the Bruce Trail on the Georgian Bay shore inside Bruce Peninsula NP — 18 platforms total, max 4 people per site, free-standing tents only, no open fires. Trailhead access runs from Cyprus Lake (Lot 2), Halfway Log Dump / Emmett Lake Road, and Crane Lake Road.
The frontcountry alternative is Cyprus Lake Campground's Tamarack section, the standard reservable car-campground inside the park, with yurts available.
The brief.
Reservations open February 2, 2026 via 1-877-RESERVE for the summer season May 1 – October 31, 2026. Stormhaven runs a winter pilot December 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026 — High Dump is summer-only.
All Bruce Peninsula NP yurts and frontcountry camping facilities close May 1–14 for deep cleaning and seasonal preparation. Backcountry rules are strict: cook stoves only, pack-out garbage, shared composting toilets, free-standing tents only on the platforms.
Flowerpot Island has limited rough sites accessible only by boat. Crane Lake Road trailhead access closes for winter.
