Motorized Touring.
The Loyalist Parkway (Highway 33) runs the spine of the County between Carrying Place and the Glenora Ferry, a designated heritage scenic drive with 125+ heritage buildings and 40+ archaeological sites along its length. The free year-round Glenora Ferry crosses Adolphus Reach in about 15 minutes, linking Highway 33 east to Adolphustown without circling back through Belleville.
Long Point Road runs out from Picton to Prince Edward Point and the bird observatory.
The brief.
The Loyalist Parkway is the headline drive. The Glenora Ferry runs 6:00 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. on a 30-minute schedule, with 15-minute service Victoria Day weekend through mid-October — free year-round, no reservation required.
Long Point Road is the spur out to Prince Edward Point NWA; the road becomes the practical access to PEPtBO and the south-eastern tip. The marquee window is May through October when ferry frequency is highest and the scenic-drive layer is fully open.
Motorcycle touring works the same route set; expect the Loyalist Parkway to be busy in summer harvest and fall colour weekends.
