Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding.
Glen Eden, at Kelso Conservation Area, runs Conservation Halton's alpine ski and snowboard hill — the GTA's closest full-service alpine resort and the southern Niagara Escarpment's only downhill operation. Lifts, snowmaking, a terrain park, and a separate snow-tubing park share the same hillside in season.
The brief.
Glen Eden operates December through March, weather-dependent. The hill carries lifts, full snowmaking coverage, a terrain park for park riders, and a separate snow-tubing park alongside the alpine runs.
Vertical is modest by Canadian alpine standards — under 100 metres — but the lift operation, learn-to-ski programs, and rentals are full-service, making the hill a regional anchor for first-timers, families, and weekend riders out of the GTA. Lift tickets and season passes are sold through Glen Eden directly; the resort runs a full rental and lesson operation.
Standard alpine safety equipment requirements apply. The snow-tubing park has separate ticketing.
