Aerial Experiences.

Walk in the Clouds is Haliburton Forest's canopy boardwalk experience — a guided treetop tour through a section of mature mixed forest in the 80,000-acre privately owned reserve. The route covers a stretch of canopy at height; on the same property, ground-level forest hiking and mountain biking let visitors pair a canopy tour with a longer day in the reserve.

01 — What to know

The brief.

Walk in the Clouds is a private-operator program — guided, fee-based, and seasonal (typically late spring through fall). Plan around the operator's calendar; spaces are limited and advance booking is recommended for peak weekends.

The route is a boardwalk at canopy height rather than a zipline; expect interpretive content from naturalist guides on forest ecology and Haliburton Forest's research history. Pair the canopy tour with a Wolf Centre visit on the same day to make the most of the drive into the reserve, which is a 3-hour push north of Toronto.
