Of its 117 sites, 116 are car-camping (41 with electrical hookups, 15 RV pull-through) and one is walk-in; the Temagami Cabin sleeps six and is bookable as roofed accommodation.
Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater's backcountry runs May 8 through October 25, 2026 across five access points, with 25 interior earth-pit toilets and motor restrictions on the park's lakes — most interior sites are reached by canoe rather than vehicle. Both parks are managed under the same Ontario Parks regulatory umbrella; Finlayson handles administration for Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater.
Best window for backcountry is late June through early September once bug pressure eases and water levels stabilize.
